KeyserSoze Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 (edited) I am trying to burn an Audio CD from Apple Lossless m4a files and I get this error: ConnectFilters (Source, Sample Grabber) Failed! I installed both of these DirectShow Filters but still feceive the error when adding files to the cue file. Error and the smaller one gets the An error occurred in the application. dbminter Posted November 21, 2015 Share Posted November 21, 2015 Often times with creating Audio CD's from files, I find random errors occur all the time. If you find one particular file format that works like FLAC, try downloading a converter for M4A and converting to FLAC. See if that works. I convert all the time for various errors and reasons with Free Audio Converter 4Dots. It supports FLAC and M4A. Often times I even have to load MP3's in it and convert them to NEW MP3's to get them to work. Big Finish Audio downloads are common problems I come across. ianymaty Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 The big file don't work with any of the OP listed DSF or plugin. The small file works with http://www.free-codecs.com/download/aac_aacplus_player_plugin.htm I can play the files in PotPlayer, QuickTime or even Winamp, not play in BSPlayer or WMP. They seem the same format but the big one is alac and the small one is MPEG-4 AAC LC, at least that is listed in Winamp when you hit Alt+3. After a little search, I found this http://dsp-worx.de/?n=15 After installing it ImgBurn complains the OptimFROG.dll is missing when you add the files. Download from here http://losslessaudio.org/Downloads.php and extract the OptimFROG.dll and OptimGROG.lib to your Windows\system32 folder or Windows\SysWOW64 if you are on x64. I tested each one and found out all that I needed to make everything work was this installer File: DCBassSource_v1.30_Installer.zip Size: 662.54 kb Date: April 03, 2013 from http://dsp-worx.de/?n=15 nothing else needed and it even works with .flac files.
