charlesh3 Posted March 22, 2016 Share Posted March 22, 2016 I'm trying to add CD text. When I play the CD is Windows Media Player (with CD TEXT plugin), it simply says "Unknown artist". Per the Media Information window in ImgBurn, each track has the correct CD Text info (title, performer) but the Disc ID is blank. Perhaps that is why it won't display the track CD text? I can not figure out how to get text into the Disc ID. I've done a "Build a cue list", highlight "Disc", select custom CD Text, and enter text into Performer and Title. I've tried two versions: with "Default CD Text" set to None and with it set to Custom. No luck either way. What's the trick? Chuck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
charlesh3 Posted March 23, 2016 Author Share Posted March 23, 2016 Well, apparently this is a Media Player plugin problem. My plugin would read CD texts from files recorded in 2015 but not 2016. I updated the plugin and it reads my 2015 ImgBurn CD text perfectly. My attention was turned to the plugin when my car CD player was able to display the CD text for 2016 files OK.
