LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 It looks like your drive did a bad job of burning the disc and now can't recognise that it burnt anything to it. If you keep that disc in the drive and go into Read mode, please copy and paste everything from the box on the right of the main window. LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 23, 2021 Share Posted January 23, 2021 Ok, so your drive still thinks the disc is empty. You're going to have to try to buy some better discs, your drive doesn't like those.... and avoid anything with the RITEK MID/dye - which is what you've tried using there. You get a tiny bit more space on a DVD-R, but there's no difference in the burn process where an end user (such as yourself) is concerned. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My recommendation was going to be on reading the first post to try something other than the RITEK media. Many drives don't like Ritek media. Ritek can be decent 2nd tier quality, but in many countries, Ritek is cheaper media. I would try Verbatim DataLife Plus (NOT Life Series you find in stores; they're worse than Ritek! The DataLife Plus stuff can only be found online.) or Verbatim AZO discs. Those are generally the better media, but, again, not all drives, like the LG WH16NS60, like them.
