I'm a Newbie: Help! Pls see Log

I know... get Verbatim discs! I did see that in the posts. Unfortunately, I bought Memorex DVD-R before reading posts. Is this my only problem? Thank you for any support that you can offer!

Lol, there is your problem right there, you bought -R media, your drive only supports +R media.

 

Yep, just get some +R media, (and yes make sure they're verbs) :)

Lol, there is your problem right there, you bought -R media, your drive only supports +R media.

 

Yep, just get some +R media, (and yes make sure they're verbs) :)

Thank you, Kev and Ken for your help. With the holidays, I was just now able to get back to this problem. I will go out this week and buy some +R Verbatim and hopefully that will solve my problem!

that must be a pretty old drive to only support +R ,if memory serves me right the only +R drives I remember were the HP ones , make sure you look for a firmware update also
