Power Calibration Area Error

When I first write an image to a Verbatim 2.4x dl disk I get no errors, everything OK.

When I immediately try to write another image to a Verbatim 2.4x dl disk, I get the above error. I think it is down to the DVD writer as when I wait a couple of hours everything seems OK. Do you think this is normal or is my DVD writer on its way out?

Maybe someone will write a guide that you could look at, you might just be doing it wrong :chair::busted:

It's possible. CDs go in the tray shiny side up, don't they? :overmyhead:

Ohhhh, yeah right :whistling: ....I didn't know you needed that kind of help, I was thinking of a basic guide on how to use the program not a whole tut on how to use a PC.

I have just burned a dvd+r dl disk with an image with my new drive with success. "So what" I hear you cry. It was burned onto a "mirror" dvd+r dl disk which came in a pack of ten of which nine were coasters using my sony burner. Moral of the story seems to be if you begin to get unusual errors with drives and disks that were working ok previously, try another drive! [Pack of 25 Verbatim
