First of all i want to say Hello, hope someone could help me out with this.

I bought some DL discs , first i tried to burn them with Nero, didn't work, wasted 2 discs, then i tried yesterday with Imgburn , also didn't work (I wanted to burn a WMV file , as a data-file) Well here is the Logfile from IMGburn, i've flashed my firmware, but i just want to be sure before i try to burn another disc.

just leave ImgBurn at default settings

if you want Data files on the disc, just use build mode and select files then burn

if you want DVD files on the disc, as long as they are in dvd compliant file format , ImgBurn will recognise this and burn as a dvd

Great guys, i'll give this a go now with my updated firmware, i'll come back here if something horrible happens again :). Thanks!

Don't think we're telling you to use Verbatim DVD+R DL discs just to be talking. I am sure many of us have experienced problems with junk media. We have all found out, through testing and use, that the Verbs are the only way to go.

Confirmation of that fact is to look at the writing after a posters post ( their signature)
