Cynthia
Not much to do. I can only see two solutions. Get media that your burner like. Get a writer that your current media like.

Cynthia
Here is something about the media it likes. Not much posted. http://www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters?DVDnam...p;Search=Search For the filter drivers. Use the option copy to clipboard end then past that info into a posting window here. LIGHTNING UK!
Oh sorry I missed the 'reading a burnt copy' and assumed you'd run into a burning error with Verbatims too. So what's the problem exactly? You can't burn onto those RITEK-S04-66 discs? Get some others instead then.
h0ll1st3r
sorry heres the video . my problem is i cannot burn the game onto these disks and it doensot even get any where it reads errors. watch video http://www.screencast.com/t/xpmjKxxqy6 Edited April 29, 2008 by h0ll1st3r
LIGHTNING UK!
I don't need a video, the log shows me everything I need to see. You can't read the decent discs that someone else has done and you can't burn your own ones. If I were you I'd re-read the 2nd post in this thread from Cynthia. Cynthia
o they are pure!, a yellow sticker says " up to 6x speed with compatible high speed dvd+r dl drives'the info reads 2.4x speed and yes they are Singapore! The ones I was referring to only have 2.4x speed supported. They have been out on the market longest - so in most cases newer writers have support for those discs. The 2.4x - 6x media is newer and not all writers support those. Based on this: I 18:35:21 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 4x) I do get a feeling that the writers firmware don't include full support for those discs. If it had support for them - the 'Speeds:' info should have included this (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x, 6x). And as it can't fully support those discs - it can't burn any slower or faster than 4x on that media.
