dbminter
When enabling the Seamless Layer Break, ImgBurn warns about how you need to make sure your DVD player supports them. So, I was wondering: what exactly would happen if you tried to play a seamless layer break enabled DVD in a player that does not support them? What would happen when the player reaches the layer break? Thanks!
LIGHTNING UK!
It'll probably stop playing.
blutach
So far, I have yet to hear of a player that won't play a SLB. And the existence of "superbit DVDs" which had SLB on them seems to indicate that SLB is a very safe option. Regards
dbminter
While we're on the subject, if any is still following this thread is there a way to determine whether a particular DVD+R DL that's already been recorded has seamless layer breaks on it or not? blutach
Yes. Copy the IFOs to a folder and open in PgcEdit. DOuble click on the main movie - this will be easily appearent by its length. If there is a SLB, all the little boxes will be checked. If not, one will be unchecked (the one at the layer break cell). Regards
