  1. Hi, I want to burn this dvd where all layer break possibilities are rated grey and all splips are set to yes I read that the layer break should be as close to 50/50 as possible but never quite understand the significance of the padding in the process. In this case, the 2nd line is 50/50 and has a change of scene. So it would be my choice but the padding seems very high. The 3rd line has a padding of only 2 but is 51/49 and there is continuous music that might make the break more noticeable. What would you recommend? EDIT: Am I correct to assume that this image from cornholio7's guide How to create a double layer DVD Video image file using ImgBurn answers my question and that I can safely choose the 2nd line as the layer break? I read this explanation of the padding by LIGHTNING UK! but it is still not very clear to me. Or should I just ignore it as long as it does not create an excessively large image?
  2. Thank you for your FAQ, which, had I gone directly to the forum to solve my problem, would have saved me time and stress. This morning, when I tried to burn a DVD, the message popped up: Apparently I had no program that was using the driver. I re-booted, which normally closes anything that could be left behind. No success. I burned the DVD with the Vista burn option. It worked. I un-installed ImgBurn 2.4.4.0 and re-installed it. Still same messsage. Only then I went to the forum and in the FAQ where I found the answer. As advised, I installed Process Explorer and the culprit happened to be the sidebar, which I had installed yesterday. I have to admit that I would have never thought of that. I closed sidebar and ImgBurn went back to working perfectly as usual. So thanks again! On a side note, I also checked Unlocker, but that did not work. The option did not appear in the context menu. But it says on the site that it does not work yet for Vista 64.
