okay so is there one that you would suggest that i could hookup myself and that can burn dvd+r Dl's with about every type of media.. Thank you!

I probably do need a new writer but is there anyway of reseting it to see if it solves the problem.

the discs are made in singapore and i did get a burn last night even though it doesnot work in my xbox 360. Thats the only time i actually got it to burn. Idk why it would just finally burn out of the blue but i tried it again and it didnot work. Ive been to that firmware update site and i cant figure out wich firmware would work for me. BTW a few months ago my drive stopped reading cd-r discs maybe that could be another issue. Is there a way I could reset it or get new firmware? Thank you!

Cynthia thank you for your help, alright my solution was the Verbatim discs . I wrote this game at 4x speed it has some slow loads when im driving in an infernus on the highway but it works and im pleased. so yah to Verbatim and f*ck you to Memorex(Ritek)

it must not be the discs it has to be a setting i have wrong can you review my log please and remember im burning a game so i need lower speeds and i have my layer break of 1913760 in place for the xbox360 Thank you!!

o they are pure!, a yellow sticker says " up to 6x speed with compatible high speed dvd+r dl drives' the info reads 2.4x speed and yes they are Singapore!

Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x 8.5 GB 240 min ......up to 6x speed

my current firmware is E113 is there an update?

yes sir i just purchased a verbatim 3 pack btw memorex where shown to work im my drive thanks for the help MADE IN SINGAPORE now there should be absolutly no reason this doensot work
