  1. I'm sorry LUK! I really didn't know what you were getting at.

I have answered you rather tongue in cheek, so for that I apologise.

Answering seriously now, I can keep things to myself.

    Regards

  2. Happy birthday again mate. You're a real winner. Can someone please buy him a lousy oil gasket? The man's in need and it's his birthday!!!!

  3. The Taiyos are pretty pricey out this a way. I'd use them for real important stuff like data backup. The Verbs suit me to a T for DVD Vid.

And, of course, I only use Verbs for DL.

Warning: If you use Nero, the media won't matter - Ner0 will find a way to fuck it up for you. :D But, unless yer a spy, what you doing here if you like Ner0?

    Regards

  4. Yes, I'm sure the chances are slim to non-existent.

I grovelled about as subtly as a sledgehammer at d9 and LUK! imperiously ignored me.

Good onya betas. Test the hell out of it and make sure it's right for us normal folks. And thanks for all your hard work. I know how hard it can be.

    Regards

  5. Shame about this thread. Some good things in here from a knowledgeable poster, combined with poor "delivery" from same.

@D - I have found LUK to take all suggestions seriously and consider them. No need to ever be overbearing or demanding - the guy only needs to be asked once. I've always found him to respond thoughtfully to any request, even if he doesn't agree to implement it.

    Regards

  6. It definintely works - I can tell you that. After you install the first time, make sure you make this a startup option. It runs a little command batch file and your LG drive(s) are bitset on startup.

  7. just a batch file right?
Even easier than that. You stick this tiny prog anywhere, Get the appropriate command, and it stick it in HKLM\Software\M$\Windows\CV\Run. A batch file does this for you.

Total setup of the process - about 1 minute. Time to run at startup - a flash. Just gotta make sure you don't delete or move the prog (hide it away somewhere).

    Regards

  8. As I see it (from my little experience with the prog), it just a data file. Simple as that. Makes more sense to store it on external media than the hard drive it is supposed to be backing up in the first place! So it just needs something which can burn a plain old data file.

I know ImgBurn is not set up for this at the mo, nor may you ever want to consider it as an all purpose file burner.

But I'd sure trust ImgBurn to burn this file better than Ner0, if it could handle it.

    Regards
