  1. Does anyone know where I can get some blank DVD+R's with the media code RICOHJPN-R01-02? Do they still make them anymore? My old Panasonic DVD-RV32 standalone DVD player (with updated firmware) will read a disc with this media code but nothing else. Help! Here is a list of some brand names that have this media code: Emtec DVD+R 4x Fuji DVD+R 4x Imation DVD+R 4x Maxell 1-4x Nashua DVD+R 4x Platinum DVD+R 4x PrimeDisc DVD+R 4x Ricoh DVD+R 4x Speer DVD+R 4x TDK 1-4x TDK DVD+R 4x Tevion DVD+R 4x 3t PRO DVD+R 4x Arita DVD+R 4x BestMedia Platinum DVD+R 4x CompUSA DVD+R 4x Databank DVD+R 4x Datasafe Media DVD+R 4x Datawrite Classic DVD+R 4x Infiniti DVD+R 4x LG DVD+R 4x Lite-On DVD+R 4x Medion DVD+R 4x Memorex DVD+R 4x

Yes. The player error message is "This type of disc cannot be played. Please insert a different disc." 3. I haven't tried burning at 8x or 12x yet.
  4. I'm stumped. I've read almost everything on this website and still having problems. I'm burning DVD video files directly to single layer media. I followed every step of this guide: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=4632. I used Verbatim DVD+R media. I burned at a slower speed than maximum. The procedure, including verification, concluded successfully without error. The burned DVD plays fine in my computer DVD player. The disc is NOT recognized by my Panasonic DVD-RV32 player. You can see from the log below that the book type is DVD-ROM "I 19:28:50 Source Media Type: DVD+R (Book Type: DVD-ROM) (Disc ID: MCC-004-00) (Speeds: 4x, 8x, 12x, 16x, 18x)". I have a DVD+R burned disc from a friend that IS recognized fine by the Panasonic player. What am I missing? I 19:07:08 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 19:07:08 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 19:07:08 Total Physical Memory: 523,808 KB - Available: 235,224 KB I 19:07:08 Initialising SPTI...
