I didn't mean it like that. I meant going on some IRC network to chat etc. Not just simply idling.
Chat > Idling

Wow I love this feature. I didn't even know it existed.
-
How many of you people idle on IRC? I know there are a few oldies amoungst you (that's a good thing right? ) so surely there has to be a couple.
I idle on Efnet mostly. I sometimes head into the #doom9 channel but nobody talks.
Maybe ImgBurn needs a channel of its own?

If a man could assert himself in society as dominant by the length and quality of his changelog, then LUK is one very dominant man!
Thank you heaps LUK!

This is a pretty sweet option.
Actually come to think of it I may change the sound. Or at least turn the volume down on it. Is it just me or is the little "bell tinging" a bit loud?
-
The audio CD stuff sounds kinda cool too. If it adds audio extraction from CD to Wav/Mp3 it would be all the "cooler"...if that is a word.
If you go into the ImgBurn options (Tools > Options) and click on the 'Read' tab, you will then be able to enable the 'Audio CD - Default to WAV file' feature. If it does what I think it does, ImgBurn will rip each track to your computer in WAV format.

Wow, this is one hell of a nice release! And four days shy of my birthday. Thank you!
EDIT: Donation sent.
EDIT: Thank you to all the BETA testers too. You know who you are.
-
I heard the people who donate the most money to LUK! become a BETA tester!
-
Oh ok. I just saw your reply to my post. I understand it more now
-
Fair enough!

This is just a big guess but according to Wikipedia (the source of all things true ) you can convert a .nrg file to an .iso by removing the 300 kilobyte header. Could his problem be fixed using this?
-
According to the developers of AnyDVD, they said simple disabling AnyDVD is as good as closing it down. But if you want to be extra sure, then close it.
-
I'd like ImgBurn to serve me brekky in bed too, but unfortunately that ain't gunna happen either.
Regards
Why get LUK! to code it in when you already have a lady to do it for you. I mean... *hides from my girlfriend*

I was afraid the screensaver might cause problems to burns. Although I don't use my screensaver I tend to forget to turn it off on the other computers. If you say it shouldn't be much of a problem then I'll trust you. Thanks!
-
I know the calls used to disable the screensaver etc but they're not used/called within ImgBurn. As such I've no idea where this issue is coming from I'm afraid!
Are there any plans to add this to Imgburn as a feature? i.e. disable the screensaver when writing/building etc

It seems like this is the new 'read cds/dvds' request .
-
ImgBurn won't read copy protected DVDs. If you need help doing that this isn't the forum to ask in.
If they're your own then just use the read mode and I guess if you really need to burn it to a disc in another drive. But do you really need it that quickly?
-
I've just done a burn with ImgBurn. Still great! Which is why I am donating some of my birthday money to you. Better it go to a great program than to alcohol and the like
Transferring the money to PayPal now . It will take a couple of days for it to go through.
-
Yeah I did. I saw the company etc but I wasn't sure what it was for. I never even thought of 'Region'. All is good now. It's the same as blutachs picture.
-
linx05, I'd be inclined to remove the RegKill entry.
The others are fine though.
Thanks. I removed it and performed a fresh install of AnyDVD. It's not longer there. After a quick search I could not find any reason for it. Something to do with the trial I am guessing?
-
And here I thought blutach would never install AnyDVD. Caught you red handed! ;)
Thanks for the update LIGHTNING UK!.

Ah ok. Fair enough

This is one handy feature every burning/other program should have. I would love it if ImgBurn had this. Like the other program Altercuno was talking about, it can detect if the DMA isn't set up properly. Fantastic!
p.s. Altercuno, who is that chick in your avatar?
-
Why do the BETAs of ImgBurn use the DVD Preview window from such programs as PgcEdit, VobBlanker etc? Source.
Is Netflix copy-protected?
