  1. Ah! Many thanks... I tried to use 6 disc (roughly) and I have about 30 in my spindle :s
  2. Dang! I had a few discs that failed to burn mixed up with good ones in my spindle. In response to LightningUK I tried to burn at 8x and it worked! I always thought 2x speed is a more thorough and safer option.
  3. Just want to know, the disc that failed to burn - is it still usable for another burn?
  4. Got some Verbs and updated my DVD drive. It burned but an error appeared when it came to verifying the disc. 6. B'ah! Knew it would be the drive. Cheers for your help. I'm no good with computer stuff so what type of drives should I be looking for?
  7. ah! ok.. I made a post myself regarding Write Error and I'm going to get those discs too.
  8. Dude please post back your result once you've tried Verbs or TY. I am having a similar problem but I think my DVD drive is crap also which make things worst.
  9. Hello all! Newcomer here and have been reading the FAQ and existing posts on I/O Error: Write Error. I realise majority of the problem stems from the actual discs itself and/or the DVD drive. I have been trying to burn ISO onto a DVD-R with imgburn on default settings and this is the log: I 12:53:41 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started! I 12:53:41 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 12:53:41 Total Physical Memory: 1,572,144 KB - Available: 1,033,512 KB W 12:53:41 Drive D:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.
