I have been using both Decrypted and ImgBurn on two computers, my old and my new one with no problems or errors, except for the CRC on bad disks. I installed the new Nero 8 and am now coming up with the unable to lock volume for exclusive access error and then it states "incorrect function". I have unchecked the box in iso write settings and it works fine. I have checked and cannot find anything that has a handle on the the drives, because this has occurred on all three of my drives, NEC1300a USB, Plextor716UF and HP640c. Since this is new error for me I was wondering if it really makes a difference if the box is left unchecked, the burned movies plays fine. And if anyone else has any ideas why this occurring.

One question though, would it be possible to have a book type setting for ?R media so I could change my DVD-R media to DVD-ROM. My recorder is a LG and it only offers +R media at the moment. Thanks

Just want to be clear on this. I rip the dvd with dvdd, use dvds to make the ISO file, then use imgburn to burn it?? Am I adding a step there or forgetting something, I was just about to burn my first DL then this imgburn thing threw a wrench into my night. Do I do anything different when burning DL's. Thanks for clearing the fog from my brain
