Noob Help!

If you tried to burn those DVD +R DL media, are you sure that they are not book typed by "default" by the burner already?
Insert such a burned disc in the drive and select Read mode - in the right panel window you should see some info if or not it's book typed.
-
2. In theory it should give you better quality burns, but in reality if you scan the burned discs, not much in practice.

He is on holiday since some time.

IMHO - Yes.

IMHO more than 10 years old if I recall when the original tests/discussions were done regarding the playback function.

You have a CD writer, not a DVD burner.

I 16:34:40 OPC: Yes
Also try with that option disabled.

Also. Say i want to install imgburn on another machine and i've configured it just to my liking on my main rig. How can i configure it exactly the same on the other rig without having to swap back & forth between both machines and (un)check where needed. Is there some file like "config.ini" or something where imgburn stores user settings that i can simply replace on the 2nd machine and presto? identical settings?
Use an USB stick & portable mode.

Or install it in portabel mode and switch the
ImgBurn.ini
file between the computers.

Running Windows 7 Ulfra x64 SP1 and had no problems adding those files to a .cue file.

According to the log, the source DVD Movie is already "region free".
I 09:06:03 Region Code: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Try to use a decent player like MPC.

If you klick on the "right" download link, you do get the ImgBurn program.
What you klicked on was an advertise link.

-> Close disc
-> End burning processCan't see any verify stage in that other program.

I need to get an account on that Google thing just to read a log file?

I 09:31:35 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: CMC MAG. AM3)
I 09:31:35 Write Mode: CD
Set write mode back to default setting - Auto.
-
If you want to burn them, just open ImgBurn in write mode and select the iso file.
-
Either split the .iso file with a program such as 7-zip,org or just mount the iso with a program such as http://www.dvdfab.com/virtual-drive.htm if you just want to see the including files.
-
Not with ImgBurn, as it's currently not supporting multi sessions.
-
There is a later driver for Nvidia out - 326.19.
-
It's saved in the .mds file.

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes!

Looks to me as your new burner is not a big fan of that media code.Different burners like the various media codes differently.
I would try with some Verbatim AZO discs, if those works - you now that your new burner is set up ok and is working. If those also fails - get it replaced.
