  1. How about converting the files to wav and then burn? Flacs are not a friendly file type

  3. Those are the discs I use. Besides, I do not live in any of those countries.
  4. Alright, I'm going to open the drive and clean it tomorrow, and hope that fixes it. And then, I'm going to try new discs before buying a new drive. I would feel really stupid if the new drive gives me the same error. Thanks!
  5. Have you tried the other available write speeds? Cleaning the lens should do the trick though, or a new burner Yes, I tried every speed available for DL media. Well, guess i'm going to have to open the drive, I have no cleaning disc. Any suggestions on the problem apearing right after the hardware/software change?
  6. Well, i've seen a lot of threads about the "Power Calibration Area Error", but I wanted you to give your opinions on what's going on in mi particular case before doing something that I will regreat later on. I've been burning DL media for a couple of weeks now. Bought 2 Verbatim bulks a month ago, and i'm trying to burn the last 2 discs. I burned everything smoothly, but last weekend i got some hardware changes on my PC. I changed the Proccessor for an AMD x2 7750. Updated mi mother's BIOS. And got a new HDD with a fresh instalation of Windows XP SP3. My drive, however, it's still an ASUS DRW-1608P3S, with the 1.24 firmware. Burned a SL Verbatim just fine, but when trying to burn a DL this infamous L0 Data setting failed error pops out. Here's the log: I 19:52:24 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!I 19:52:24 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 19:52:24 Total Physical Memory: 2.095.532 KB - Available: 1.685.476 KB I 19:52:24 Initialising SPTI...
