I have 2 liteon 5006B's
The first one is slightly better than 2nd both suffer from fast time clocks Eg i set time to say 21.33 and within 1-2 weeks its like 1 minute fast, at minute it is 13 minutes fast
Picture quality is excellent on both but then generally i am using sky to dvd and max sky bitrate is about 3500kbps. (so i ain't seeing the fully capability)
Tbh i have not used them much recently as i just record everything from my 250 gig topfield 5800 black panther (pvr/freeview box)
Have a look on some sites at what other people say about the one your thinking about getting, as i would hate to recommend you get liteon one only to find it's shite.

what your attemting to do is place 6 gig + onto a medium that will only accept 4.37 gig.

Burnout revenge Showed up EA when EA included the demo of Burnout Revenge with NFS2.
Smooth frame rate and given it's like moving at, what appears to be a thousand miles and hour.
Fair enough the clipping on BR does fall apart sometimes but I love it, especially when I have my custom soundtrack playing.

all the liteon home recorders i have, just use standard liteon drives, as pointed out though the trick is in the fitting.

The only dissapointing thing about that episode was the lack of pole dancing.

so does dvdinfo pro support jitter correction with liteons or were you just referring to nero's tool.
as i dont think i have tried my liteons with cd dvd speed.

is it any newer liteon or only just a few, as i am sure my 1635 does not do jitter or my 160p or whatever model number it is.

if your using nero in cd or easy cd creator dump them.

But for a person living in Pennsylvania it is illegal to buy them, but they can sell them,and they can use them
Jesus some strict laws in New Jersey "Children are Illegal" makes sense though not being able to sell them or use them.
Seems like people in Pennsylvania get the better deal, well selling them.

How you got that :

probs had it inserted the wrong way as well dumb arse.

drive/driver issue or you got a spindle of disc's where some disc's are good and some are bad, eg if you had time machine and used the failed imgburn ones in clone, they still would have failed in clone, also when you got clone to burn disc, imgburn would have also burned that disc.
If however you have say 75 left on spindle and one after the other burned 20 of them using clone all successful, then tried to burn the next 5 in imgburn and all failed to start lead in etc, then although possible you had a run of 20 good disc's, and now you back to the duff ones. It would seem to indicate imgburn being at fault then. (doubt it though without it being somehow corrupted)
Have you set imgburn back to defaults and then tried ?

firewire is why i bought my liteons as well, also the fact it writes (well mine do and i assume the model your looking at claims to be All Write) eg -r +r etc.
Actually i bought it for this
you can make VCD, SVCD, AUDIO, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW discs and firewire, component 576P, Fibre optic 5.1 , composite RCA L/R /V(yellow) front input and a few other features i cannot remember.
Not sure if the model your looking at has everything i listed.
Pity there was no vga output on either of mine.
