Some Pioneer 112 drives did have problems with CD media. See if it is still under warranty and find a link to have pioneer replace it they did a mini recall on some of them in USA could not seem to find link to UK or Europe but US had a recall in place for affected drives

Maybe it was a bodge job to fix formatting problem in 3.47
Am sure his disc's are meant to be 4x cdrw and appear to be so then they just show up faster

You may also like to update your firmware on that drive as YS0N is early and the latest which matches more media and also fixes DVD-r leadin problems is YS0Z http://www.liteonit.eu/eu/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SH...re/DR16YS0Z.zip
When you update make sure there is no media in drive and that the tray is closed and do not stop once it starts or switch off PC until it says completed and it asks to reboot, (reboot once finished even if it does not ask)

think it may conflict something in ImgBurn 2.4.1.0 so I will wait to be fixed this for update
You will be waiting a very long time then as there is nothing wrong with ImgBurn it is your hardware at fault.

Which version you using. Sure L_UK did something when I made the mistake of having no disk in drive and I did not notice media required had changed though % went down.
Either way do as suggested and if your using anything other than 2.4.1.0 update.

It is down to your USB High Speed. It is better on some hardware than on others, that can be USB chip on your mobo or in your external hard drive.
If you have an addon card to give you extra ports try using the motherboard usb ports.
If your writer and your hard drive are both connected via Usb then try using an addon pci usb card and split the writer and the hard drive Eg keep hard drive on mobo usb port put the writer on PCI - port.
Whatever your setup also defrag your external hard drive and check it for errors.

Pioneer 111/112/115 is a good choice if your aiming to backup your 360 games in combination with Verbatim media.

Replace your drive with a newer one as your writer is getting on a bit now and does not or probably will not fully support the media you have.
You may have better luck with the 2.4x Verbatim MKM-001-00 instead of the 8x ones which your drive is struggling with.

Use a single layer disc as your project has no need for a dual layer.
When you do need to use Dual layer choose Verbatim

My LG- RE is fine with YL03 or was when full erase and fastwrite and prefer format without etc.
Maybe it's your USB 2.0 with a SATA to USB Convertor not playing nice. Can you not try with it connected to either mobo sata (non jmicron/raid) or a pci sata addon card like sil image 3512 (correct that number if needed Lol)
