  1. Darn...I have to wait until my admin comes home to view device manager. Admin hasn't come home yet? Luckily I am on the admin account now. She lives a state away lol. Yep its a little yellow triangle. (!) I'm running vista.(I prefer xp )

  3. If you open up 'Computer' from the start menu, do you see your dvd reader/write drive listed? Only (C:) and A recovery drive (D:). Is your drive (i.e. the dvd reader/writer) physically inside your computer or do you plug it in via a lead? (i.e. is it an internal drive or an external one). Internal Do you have a desktop pc or a laptop? desktop pc. Lol Super Noob!!! Yeah...I have a tendency to go to the introduction section sometime after I look through the forum.
  4. The version is 2.4.40 Can you see the burner in Windows Explorer? If you mean is it in the program files directory than yes. How is it attached? Internal cable/USB/FireWire? Attached? The disk is in a dvd writer/reader.
