  1. Thanks LIGHTNING UK for the replies to both my posts. Regards, Perch.
  2. Can the aspect ratio of a dvd be changed, ie. 16:9 to 4:3 or vice versa, when building an ISO file using Image Burn, and if not does any body know of any software available to do this and still keep the original menus functional. Regards, Perch
  3. Tried doing a search on mds but couldn't find anything, maybe I need some pointers on how to search, anyways, my question is when I go to burn should I use the ISO file or the MDS file, and will there be a difference in the burnt discs by using one or the other. Thanks, perch
  4. Thanks again "cornholio7", looks like everything worked great from the information that you provided. One additional question if you have the time, since this is all new to me and I would like to learn more about the additional preferences, settings, file types, and information/meaning of all of the acronyms, could you recommend any web sites. I've been bitten by the video bug and want to learn everything I can. Perch
  5. Thanks for your reply. I checked out the guide you have posted and have a question about selecting the layer break position. When the Create Layer Break Window pops up it shows numerous LBA's with the green stars and under SPLIP it designates them as N/A and No. I see in your guide its recommended to choose one with No, but how do you determine which one to pick. Also how do you pick up your screen shots, this would come in handy for posting of any problems. Thanks Perch
  6. Hi, Ive created an ISO file using dvd shrink of my video_ts folder files, the preference setting for the dvd target size was set to DVD-9, but when i tried to use ImgBurn to burn the ISO file that was created i get the following message, "Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: None Found! (VTS_05). This image has not been mastered correctly for burning on to a double layer (OTP Track Path) disc. None of the cells meet the DVD-Video specification criteria for a potential layer break position." Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Perch.
