this is a new problem I've been having. I restart my computer and put in a new blank DVD and sometimes it works fine and others it doesn't. I've wasted like 15 blank DVD's at this point and am getting pretty frustrated. Any idea what this means?

It's been working just fine with DVD+R, but I accidentally bought DVD-R and now it says Device Not Ready (cannot read medium, unknown format). What do I do?

So how do I make the drive read the disk properly?

I get this immediately after clicking for img to ''read.'' I don't get this all the time, but pretty much half the time. I'm always god about deleting files after I'm done writing them and I empty my recycle bin. When I click to continue anyway, immediately I get ''Cannot create or replace image.iso: There is not enough free disk space.'' It says that 8,795,690,371,072 is required but I've only got 152,586,178,560 bytes remaining. I'm pretty sure I've got way more space than this available. I do have Norton on my computer (I looked in FAQ's and this seemed to be the closest thing to any of the listed FAQ's) though I don't use it and cannot locate a Norton recycle bin.
