Tried the following with no success: # Disable IMAPI Service (Work's in most cases): 1. Launch Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services . 2. Browse for "IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service", Right-click on it and select properties. 3. Chnage Startup Type to Disabled. From what i found, cleaning the burner is my last option. As previously asked, is there any tutorial on how to do it properly by yourself?

Again, after some reading i've read the same 5 minutes ago on another thread. I haven't burn a DVD for about 6 months so it might be that. But how do I clean it? Do I need to open the hardware piece? Is there any tutorial or anything at all? I haven't ever cleaned a burner. EDIT: Will I also need to use again a new blank disk?
