  1. Replaced Burner resolved all issues. These Blu-ray writiers aren't lasting more than a year and I not a heavy user. Burner replaced under warranty though
  2. Full erased locked up at various % points with Imgburn using DL's. I had to reboot PC to gain control again. Failed to burn using Ashampoo 11 program as well. Yes I will have to try another drive
  3. I have started to get bad burns using Sony BD-R DL and also Sony BD-RE discs. Although the burns were sucessful the verfications failed just prior to the mid way points of the disc (layer breaks?). The blu-rays pixelled at the mid way point of the movies. Strange since I alsways used the BD-RE DL's for testing with good results, yet they now are returning the same verfication errors as the BD-R DL's. I have used a cleaning disc also. Your insight would be appreciated ImgBurn.log
  4. What are these syn folders I see on movie down loads ie. .iid,.syn, .klk and .xml extensions ? These files are given in the same folder as BDMV and CERTIFICATE. What do I do with these in IMGBURN ? Are they necessary ?
  5. The original files from my hard drive played o.k. in my Media Centre. I am assuming that the lines in the graph should be smooth with no quick peaks and valleys? The drive speed has always been set to AWS in IMGBURN as opposed to setting the speed, would that present a problem? I am leaning toward drive replacement since nothing changed with my burns. Maybe the laser is getting funky ?
  6. Burned 24 Sony BD-R 50 gig discs, no problem, on LG BH08LS20. Last 5 were 3 Sony, 2 Mitsubishi-Kagaku Media and all failed to burn properly. Writes o.k. but will not verify past mid way or at Layer Break. Plays o.k. to mid way and pixelates and stops. Burner or media ? Please point me in the right direction. Strange, though I can burn and verify on Sony BD RE 50 gig? 2 Types of Media Bad ?
