  1. Ok so my bd re dl media mediacode TDKBLD WFA-000, after several rewritings (in the order of 60-100), started to gimme errors writing some sectors of the disc. Tried erasing it completely but it's the erorr remains also in the erasing process.... Do you have experience in rewriting the same media several times, how much times did you successfully rewrite it? I'm very angry right now! On the media label TDK states that you can rewrite 10000 times, that's 100 times what I've done! It's unaccettable this difference! P.S. Obviously I've the latest firmware on my lg bh08ls20, and the media is crystal clean ( no scratches or dust EVER).
  2. yes it's made in japan media. My story with bluray is very bad, I begun with the sony bd re dl (mediatype mei t01 01),they all were well readen by the ps3 but ,after 8-15 rewritings, they begun to gimme bad sectors messages during writing and the movies had holes and stck 5-6 times each.(all of this has been well documented by a specific post of mine on this forum). Then I bought a tdk (mediacode tdk bld wfa 00 ) and just keeps rewriting fine, even if some movies stuck but , I think , it's caused by my ps3 because with others and with standalone readers he movie plays just fine. Now I bought these 2 bd re dl labelled Maxell with the same mediacode of my tdk (tdk bld wfa 00), even if they cost an half of the tdk (12 euros vs 23 circa). One of the two plays fine, another on mine ps3 doesn't even appear in xmb while playng fine on my friends' ps3. This is my sad and trobled story... Any comments is well accepted!
  3. hi! I have a tdk-bld-wfa-00 branded maxell, I burned on it a backup of a movie that i own on bluray. On a friend of mine ps3 slim it plays just fine, on mine the movie icon doesn't even appear in the xmb... I suppose it's a problem of my ps3... anyway to improve the compatibility I would like to burn it at 1x with my LG bh08ls20 but I can't, imgburn forces me to burn it at 2x. Can I do something? Thanks for your help

  5. i could try to change the sata port of the burner... Anyway I have also others bd re dl sony, identical to this one "faulty", and they are of the right size and I can fully erare them with default settings. It's strange that one only disc gives me these problems, judging from the disc surface there's no sign of scratch or damage at all....

Thanks Update: I've tried again after installing the drivers,it gets stuck at 49 % , again using the defualt settings ( prefer format with full certification, prefer format without spare areas and prefer properly formatted discs checked). What should I try next? thanks

  8. Hi! here's the problem I have a bd media that fails to be completely erased(I'll post the log file so you can understand the media code of the bd media and the burner model). Erasing it with completely default settings makes the burner stuck erasing at 48 %( I've left it for about 8 hours working but it's completely stuck at 48 %),then I tried changing some options and withoud spare parts option checked I managed to completely erase it. Anyway the size of the disc is less than it was brand new,I think, because I can't burn an image meant to fit to a bd re dl like mine. In fact I think that the media has bad sectors on it,can't they be rapaired in any way? Here's the a log of some erasing with different options: I 02:34:23 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started!
