They both seemed to come out OK !! My tired ole puter, been doing a lot of stuff to try and correct:

I usta do dual burns, with out a hicup, burning is the only issue. Everything else is fine, I can do dual transcodes with Shink or Clone without a problem (if I want to just create iso). Burin singles is my best bet, but I have had singles fail in the past. If it keeps actin up a NEW PS will be next I guess.

I've added a cooler, which did it's job, but I think it was as LUK mentioned .... cables or power distribution ... at least for the failed burns .... haven't had one since redistributing power to the drives and adding the cooler .... the was the closest it came ... I was expecting it to fail ....

    @LUK ..... 2.0 is lookin good, don't need Nero anymore ..... :thumbup:

  3. OMG! I forgot about that! I put that up there on IMDB, I'm sure!

Well I watch the movie .... that's not the one, amazingly what I described is in the movie, except of the meteorite shower, and that's how I remember the one I was looking for started.

Also the alien creatures would stand upright on that spine/tail when they scamperd around. The one I'm trying to located was definetly much better than "Fiend Without a Face". And I want to think that is was done in the UK and another that I'm not sure of is I think it ended where they stranded/trapped in a lighthouse. But I could be all washed up .....

THX for the try db ....

  4. My local library's copy of the DVD was in on Thursday. :) Be sure to check the disc label with DiscInfo, etc. for a nice surprise. ;)

I saw it "AFIENDINNEEDISAFIENDINDEED" ! A jokester, who made this one !

  5. Well I finally got a hold of the movie, "Fiend Without a Face", had doubts as the description on the web didn't ring a bell.

But sure enough, U hit the Nail on the Head .....

    THX AlienX

  6. For the 1950's, the effects were quite shocking, actually. :) Especially the brains oozing blood when shot.

For a 10 yr old it was quite schocking, scared the be-Jesus outta me, dat's why I wanna see it again ....

THX db .... much appreicated !!!

  7. Sounds like ur not having a very good day .......

Yeah I had some shits with Pen Drives recently, gone through two and just got the third. I lost some stuff but was able to recover most ....

Cheer up V, at least ur still healthy and able to walk on both feet ....

Ps: havent talked in awhile, hope other things are going well .....

    Cheer mate !

  8. Saw a movie when I was a child (around 10), this movie stuck with me as it scared the fork outta me. But I cant remember the name of the flick. Was hoping the chaps, gents from the UK might know as this was filmed in the UK, I think.

The movie starts with a metorite shower hitting the earth, then these creatures are spawn. The creatures were a brain looking thing with a spine tail that ran along the ground.

Does this some familar to anyone ? As I would like to watch this movie again ....

  9. Alien, have you got it yet?

Yep, Got it a few days ago, installed last night, tested with ORIG firmware. It burned TYG01 (4x) at 8X with Nero .. pretty good.

Well now for the real test ..... I just installed Ver. 1W7 .. released 8-10-05 per website .... i thought I went there to check the 1W6 you posted last week and 1W7 wasn't there and 1W6 was ... I could be mistaken .... 10/8/05 ? ?

Anyway I got it flashed and need to test ...... now I have a 3520 & 3540, no more expensive Plex's for me, paid $198 for a PX-708A around 1/2004. Note the Plex was faster at some things .......

Now I need to go see what the latest for the 3520 ..... looks like 2.U3, I'm still running ND-3520AW 1.UG, but it works like a charm, never had one hiccup .....

  10. Hell, I'm excited for you! :)

(cynthia is the one who told me about it, she stole one to test it out! But, Shhhh don't tell anyone!)

    At $39, it's already a STEAL !

  11. Been getting a lot of "Servo Tracking Errors" on my Plex PX-708A. My NEC 3520A has been pretty ROCK solid with Liggy&Dee firmware.

Thinking about getting another NEC, 3540A, $39 at NewEgg, anyone have this drive ? If so any suggentions on the firmware ?
