can anyone help with the VIDEO_TS folder? Do i select all the files?

Any fun ideas on what to do with all the burned up useless discs? Also can anyone recommend a good affordable internal dvd rw drive under 300? I was in the drive section but theres just way too much information there for me to wrap my head around. lol. I don't plan on burning large quantities of dvds. just a few here and there.

Ehhh still havin trouble when I use a converter. I went to select the vob files and burnt up another 2 discs do i select every file in the video_ts folder?

thank you very much... i just did that with dvdflick and imgburn it took about 3 hrs. i downloaded avs video converter. ive used it before for ipod stuff. im gonna do like you said and encode on my pc... my laptop is older and slow but the dvd burner works. my hp lightscribe sucks ass. thanks alot though for your help. i even set those settings you just posted to fastest and it took 3 hours w/ dvd flick and the a/v is garbage playing with a component cable not hdmi. ill have to pick one up soon. thanks again.

What do you figure is an average time it should take to convert and burn average quality regular dvd, not blu-ray. Hour? 2 hours? is 5-6 hours way too long or normal?

So I need to convert to DVD so i have the video and audio ts folders... then when i use img burn i select the 2 folders and burn away?

I thought IMGburn encodes the vid file? Can you suggest any other conversion programs because DVDflick is unbelievably slow.

When I put in back in the PC and go to my computer and click the disk to open...theres the same .mp4 file I tried to make a DVD out of. Just the one single video file. nothing else. the physical disc is about half "burned". Looks like its just making a data disk to me. Log file helping at all?

I've burned up about 5 blank DVD's now. I create an image to burn, use write mode but all it seems to me is that its burning the video file to the dvd disk as data and not playable in a dvd player. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I looked through all the guides and followed the iso format guide and it's not not working. Could it be that the video file I'm trying to burn to dvd is .mp4? Burning with DVDflick works but takes like 5 hours and Imgburn is burning the disk way too quickly to be a DVD disc. I've been burning CD-r's forever but I don't burn too many DVD's. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Can't really post a log file because I'm using my laptop to burn and my pc drive won't even recognize a blank dvd no matter what brand. I'm using PLAYO 1-16x DVD+r 4.7 gb discs. I saw a topic a few lines down about a similar problem but I can't reply to it.
