  1. Since a few days before, the imgburn will freeze at "locking drive for exclusive access" when I tried to buy disc. I therefore terminated the application using Program Manager each time. The log file is reproduced below - I 09:41:56 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started! I 09:41:56 Microsoft Windows 7 Professional x64 Edition (6.1, Build 7601 : Service Pack 1) I 09:41:56 Total Physical Memory: 8,354,960 KB - Available: 5,476,960 KB I 09:41:56 Initialising SPTI... I 09:41:56 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 09:41:56 -> Drive 1 - Info: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH12LS38 1.00-D2 (F:) (ATAPI) I 09:41:56 Found 1 BD-RE! I 09:42:56 Close Request Acknowledged I 09:42:56 Closing Down... I 09:42:56 Shutting down SPTI... I 09:42:56 ImgBurn closed! Can anyone help me to fix the problem? Thanks!
  2. Thanks for the advice. I just discovered that the buffer level reaches 100% when buying DVD despite a red rectangle still appears at the right side of the percentage bar.
  3. Can you elaborate more on your answer 'new LG drives seem to do'?
  4. I have just installed a new LG BH12LS38 blu-ray writer to replace my old one. When burning a blu-ray disc using the new drive, the programme buffer reaches 100% but the device buffer only reaches 50%. Will it be a hardware or software problem?
  5. Thanks Cynthia and laserfan for the information. I don't know anything about ircc. But do you think adding the new disc ID manually into the firmware can help solve the problem?
  6. Hmmm I didn't know Verbatim was using CMC factory for any of their discs. Anyway the "YL07" caught my eye as I have the GGW-H20L, and looking at the supported media types, yours is not listed: BD-R supported media types: 66 ------------------------------------------ ANWELL R04-004 2x CMCMAG BA2-000 2x CMCMAG BA3-000 4x,2x CMCMAG BA3-000 4x,2x CMCMAG BB5-000 4x,2x Daxon R2X-000 2x Daxon R2X-000 2x ... I think this means you are out-of-luck with this media! But thanks for alerting me to the new LG firmware--first in 2 1/2 years! How can I check the types of media supported by GGW-H20L? From lge.com or somewhere else?
  7. I have mistakenly posted the log file before firmware update. The correct one is appended below - The disc is Verbatim 6x BD-R as marked on the packing. ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 - Log ; Saturday, 30 July 2011, 11:39:39 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 11:37:10 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! 8. I am using LG GGW-H20L burner and have started using newly bought Verbatim 6x BD-R discs today. All two trials were failed. I then downloaded and installed the latest firmware YL-07. The same problem persists. Attached below the error log.
