Already throw away the packaging as it was a 5 disc package. Only thing I noticed is that it fails on different sector's every time. 2,4x: Failed to Write Sectors 2164992 - 2165023 - Reason: Write Error 4x: Failed to Write Sectors 2180256 - 2180287 - Reason: Write Error 8x: Failed to Write Sectors 2180352 - 2180383 - Reason: Write Error But I think it's just that damn drive. Is there any slimline drive that does work, to replace mine? Oh never thought about updating, but I'll give it a look. Thanks!

Dear Forum members, I'm trying to burn a DVD DL, but every time I'm trying it's giving me an error at 56%. I've read the topic "Problems burning double layer discs?" and I have to say I'm using Verbatim 8x instead of the 2.4x and I'm using a Sony-Nec Optiarc AD-7640S which is a Alienware M17xR2 Notebook DVD writer. I updated the firmware and tried every speed possible, 2,4x and 4x even 8x. They all stop at the same 56%. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there a setting I need to change?
