  1. Hi, just wanted to add that I'd really like to see a build queue as well. It's the only thing I feel is missing from ImgBurn. From a user's POV it makes a lot more sense to me than a write queue, since the latter still requires me to be sitting at my PC to switch discs, whereas with the former I could fire and forget and have ten nice ISOs waiting for me to burn when it was done. Personally, the only reason I'd need a build queue is for DVDs. I build ten or twenty of those suckers at a time; not so with data ISOs. So, for me (and others with my habits), something simple like ImgTool Classic (very simple options and no need for anything else) but with a queue would be great. Might be worth considering. Anyway, great program and good work!
  2. Hi. I recently stumbled upon IMGBurn in hopes that this is the perfect CD burning software. I have Nero and know how to burn the bootable CD in there, but I'm trying to do the same thing in here to test (as that's the most advanced thing I'll ever do with burning software). I can't figure out the proper options even though I felt like I was mimicking the web tutorials flawlessly. I'd love it if someone could help me out please. Thx!
  3. My DVD Drive has always been a pain, (i ultimately got it replaced a year ago, and that fixed the problems apart from a few corrupted burnt DVDs, but now my computers warranty's expired, so i can't replace it again). A week ago, I was attempting to backup a couple of audio cd's, but almost everything i tried failed. can't remember the last time i tried playing a audio cd on my computer, but that's probably because i've never had a problem b4. First i tried simply copying from a cd and burning it, that didn't work - the last 2-3 tracks became corrupted, so i ripped the tracks first and then tried burning them, didn't work either. As i was beginning to run out of idea's, i tried making a image file of the cd and them burning it with imgburn. But now all of a sudden my DVD Drive has stopped recognising CDs altogether. It can't read them at all. Not even at startup. The odd thing is that it can still read DVDs and i've successfully burned DVDs with imgburn and verified them. I'm not saying that imburn is to blame here, cause i've been able to burn DVDs with it flawlessly, but What's wrong with my DVD drive, i mean it can't be broken, as i can still read and write DVDs, ?? I've tried updating it to the latest firmware, but i already have it so that doesn't do anything. I've tried un- and reinstalling the drive, tried cleaning it, tried reinstallin aspi. How can i fix this? Thanks in advance
  4. Thought you might be interested to add this to Guides forum http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?q=...20multibootable
  5. Hello, i have a Q78A aswell in my laptop. I have read the posts but I cant seem to figure out what you did to make it work with bitsetting? I am trying to backup my Xbox360 games but from what I have read this cant be done without changing bitsetting and DVDINFOPRO says my recorder doesnt support this? Could you shed some light on this for me please?
  6. Seems like I should try to make this thing back just take a picture of it for the history. Just one problem - to recall where did I throw this useful piece of junk.
  7. I am not trying to burn or create AudioCD with ImgBurn, because What I would like is to create CD with ImgBurn, but I haven't found a way there can I specify that I want a CD ISO - not a DVD one. AFAICU, CD ISO is no different from DVD except size.
  8. Hmm, does this mean that if I want to make CD image I just need to be sure that the size of ISO will not be greater than MAX size of my blank CD? Is it possible to reflect this parameter in future versions somehow? Like dropbox with predefined MAX sizes or "measure" button to get the information from disk currently inserted?
  9. The problem was in CD-R what was too good for the drive (24x or something like that) while drive could only hand 10x. The problem resolved though by changing the drive. However, there are more problems arised.. Perhaps it is lucky Win2000Sp4 or pre-installed Nero spoiling the fun. In short - to be continued.. in another thread.
  10. Is it possible to create a bootable CD ISO with ImgBurn? In build mode only DVD* media types are available.
  11. Currently ImgBurn could not detect if the disk written is supported by drive. Instead of message that "this disk could not be burnt, because it is designed for more high-speed devices" ImgBurn displays a error box where among some binary dumps is a message "Write protected".
