Sorry I didnt post a log I will see if I can retrieve it. I think it may be a source file issue. I burnt the same file with nero 14 and the result was the same. Must be a file structure issue on the original and that's why it happens every now and again. Frustrating when it does but probably not a burning issue. Thanks

Hi, I have an occasional problem where when i burn a blu ray 50 or 25gb movie it burns as a data disc. I can play it on my tv via br player by searching through the mts files and finding the whole movie but its frustrating that this happens maybe once in 25 burns. My setting are correct mode1/2048 udf udf revision 2.5 recurse subdirectories is also checked. Version is 2.5.80 can anybody shged any light on why this may be happening on rare occasions?

I have a blu ray drive on my PC and wanted to burn full blu rays straight on to disc. I tried the first time with imageburn and it worked fine. The second and third time the process seemed to go well but the file wouldn't play back on my ps3 just a black screen. After that I have tried again but imageburn seems to just put the original files on the disc rather than in a playable format. I used the build mode and I am not sure where I am going wrong. I also tried with nero 12 and again it just put the original files on disc on obviously neither files would play, they just show as ready for burning. I am new to burning blu rays and don't want to keep wasting discs. Any advice on how to resolve this. Thanks
