  1. so, it's normal for the device buffer to drop to zero when it's performing the OPC? Only reason I ask, is with my older IDE pioneer drive the buffers always stayed at max I forgot to say i'm running on windows 7. Thanks

  3. sorry, i'm at work. I should have waited to post this when i got home. I'll post the log when I can get it.
  4. I have an optiarc AD-7240S. It's brand new, just installed yesterday. I have burned two verbatim DVD+R DL disks. Both turned out fine, except while I was burning them, the device buffer would quickly drop to zero, then build back up. It did this about every 20 seconds during the entire burn. The system buffer never dropped at all. Is this normal for dual layer disks on this drive?
  5. i know this thread is old, but i just had the same problem. except with a cd. i was burning a cd at 8x on my laptop with an NEC ND-6650A dvd burner. device buffer was a solid 0%, image buffer was 100% with a very stable burn speed, and perfectly burnt cd. Actually, when the burn progress hit about 80%, the device buffer shot up to 100% till the end of the burn. It was on a fresh install of Windows Vista, which I have used before and never had this problem. anyway, GREAT program!! It is the only burning software that i use for the most part. Thanks.
