  1. Sorry, my bad. I meant multi-session....
  2. Oxy; That has been asked and answered many times here. The Boss doesn't want to (more problems, more code in the program and there are other alternatives instead of spanning multiple discs).
  3. No. ImgBurn does not do multi-session.
  4. Try a different disc manufacturer. Try a different speed for your write. Clean your drive. Replace your drive.
  5. Your drive can't read the disc your trying to copy. MVSN is the stock symbol for Macrovision. If the disc that you are trying to read is copy protected you will not be able to use ImgBurn to read it. If it's not copy protected, try cleaning the drive with one of those drive cleaning discs and then you can try to clean the disc and see if it's badly scratched or something.
  6. You could check to see if there is an update to the firmware for the drive, otherwise go out and buy the correct speed discs since your burn is failing right from the start.
  7. Try cleaning the drive. Try 4x speed. Possibly need a new drive.
  8. Open ImgBurn, place the good disc in the drive, select device on the right panel, count down 11 lines from the top info line and you should find the MID of the disc you can burn to. Try other discs and trade names and you'll find that discs have varied MID's depending on who made them...not who named and sold them.
  9. Update ImgBurn and try the other available speeds. I/O errors indicate that the drive/firmware/media do not agree with each other at some time.
  10. OH..OK. Since the Boss didn't answer this for you I guess it would mean that he's not interested in making any changes to the program that would make it larger and serve a very small number of users since this is the first request like this I've ever seen.
  11. If it's not listed in the drives portion of the forum try contacting the LG link below as this has nothing to do with ImgBurn. https://wws.lg.com/us/support/message-customer-support
  12. Great first post and welcome to ImgBurn.
  13. Yes...No. If cleaning doesn't work, replace the drive.
  14. First, before we can help lets decide if it's a burning problem (which we can help you with ) or a ripping problem (which we will not help you with ). Post a logfile from one of your burns that freezes or has some other problem.

  16. When drives begin to reach the end of their limited lives, they give errors such as yours. Since we do not repair drives here, we recommend, due to their low cost, that the user replace them. If you can think of another alternative to replacing a shit drive, feel free to suggest it. Also, since you are already running a thread on this subject under another posting, read the advice given there and look at your disc quality.
  17. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Same info applies to single layer discs also.
  18. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden give you the best shot at a good burn.I
  19. Maybe this will help: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=VPCEG3BFXW&upd_id=7427&os_group_id=6

  21. Why not try, all you can loose is what you've already paid for the media plus the aggravation.
