  3. Just wanted to throw my log on here and get a professional opinion before I try another disc...does this look like it was a bad disc? or is there something else going on? Thanks Log.rtf
  4. Oh yeah, sleep...forgot you we're human....so i normally just go to Fry's and buy whatever Verbatims they sell, if I order online, is there a way to know for sure I'm getting the better (HTL) disc? I did notice the dye was yellow on this batch (LTH)... Thanks again...
  5. Is this a dumb question....I used the search to look up any info on Power Calibration Area Errors in this forum and the only thing I found was the "use verbatim disks" page, which I am using so why hasn't anybody responded...
  6. Just curious if I have a bad batch of media, this error is happening often, though sometimes when I put in a different disc from the same batch it works... Thanks for any help... 7. Just burned a movie i downloaded, didn't even think about checking if it was in my area (1). Now my stand alone can't play it....is there a way to convert the movie to my area before burning so my stand alone can play it? When I downloaded the movie there wasn't any information about what area is was from, is there a way to tell? And if this is the wrong forum to ask this, please direct me to one that might be able to help... Thanks
  8. thanks, I was thinking it might be some bad discs but I'm in the middle of the same batch, but that might not matter.

  10. So I wasn't sure what to do when lightning said that the discs I'm trying to burn are PTP's and verbatim dl's are OTP. Is there a simple way around this to fix my layer break?
  11. Also, there's 5 firmware choices, should I just pick the latest one?
  12. Thanks, should I do anything about the layer break, or will it just put it where it needs to be?
  13. My first couple DL's went fine, then all of a sudden I'm throwing away disc's, it seems to not be finding L1...anyway any help would be great... I 09:51:21 ImgBurn Version 1.0.0.0 started!
