  1. 🎵 Oh raw dao~, within grasp yet so far, though~ 🎵
  2. At this point in time I really doubt anyone in the universe would go after you, LIGHTNING, for adding CD RAW DAO burning support in ImgBurn. But if time travel is ever a thing I can't guarantee no lawsuits from the future, though.
  3. Well yeah, I'm guessing most DVD-RW drives do support RAW DAO. I almost fainted when I saw someone reply to the thread, thought for a sec LIGHTNING had reconsidered, lol Oh well, until next time..
  4. Little bump during these uncertain times.
  5. Happy New Year! I wish for RAW burning CDs in ImgBurn in 2019!
  6. Hmm seems we're more than a few interested in RAW CD burn support in ImgBurn. LIGHTNING, just out of curiosity, what is your rationale for not wanting to implement this burning mode? Is it philosophical? Is it to protect ImgBurn from possible legal issues somehow? (I remember the switch from DVD Decrypter to ImgBurn..) Here I just would love to get rid of Alcohol 120% that I solely use for the "Playstation" burning profile (basically RAW DAO burning I believe). Since ImgBurn covers 99% of my burning needs (and then some), I find it just silly to have another soft/drivers installed for that one missing feature. RAW DAO is needed to burn certain images with intentional mastering errors (so they are not auto-corrected on the fly by the burner), I believe.
  7. Keyword "really"! There's some hope, even if so slightly
  8. Hi LIGHTNING, so is there hope in the future for burning CDs in RAW DAO mode? That'd be really awesome. See you, TSR
  9. Thanks for the report dbminter. Are these made in India or Singapore? I find out those made in India are actually made by Moser Baer using licensed Mitsubishi technology. In the batch of those I ordered, made in India, I got a few duds, nothing bad but just thought I'd mention it.
  10. dbminter, got them today. 11. Figured the Verbatim stuff out. In a nutshell, all Verbatim CD-R packs branded "CD-R Extra Protection" are CMC / China crap. And all Verbatim CD-R packs branded "AZO Crystal" are MKM / India manufacture. So I just went in and ordered a 50x Spindle Verbatim 43343. Here is the full 2014 Verbatim catalog.
  12. Thanks for the tip, at this point anything is better than CMC xD
  13. Thanks for your input dbminter, do you mind linking the Taiyos you're getting on amazon?
  14. Hey all, I've been going nuts trying to find quality CD-Rs. It sounds crazy I know, but Verbatim has completely switched to CMC it seems, Sony has stopped producing CD-Rs altogether and the other brands I've never had much experience with. Where do you guys buy quality CD-Rs in this day and age? Is there any serious manufacturer left? Are there any MKM CD-Rs under any brand anywhere? Thanks for any info, TSR
  15. +1 RAW Mode for burning CDs would be awesome indeed. I've been using CDRWin for years and since I changed my drive, the "RAW" option has become greyed-out in CDRWin. I suspect because support for drives newer than 2010 has just never been implemented in this soft (which is now dead ) Looking for a solution, I found Alcohol 120% does support RAW mode for my drive and it works just fine. But I'm otherwise _really_ not a fan of Alcohol and certainly wished I could do the same in ImgBurn instead and ditch Alcohol (lol). I hope LIGHTNING would reconsider a RAW option for Write Mode (at least for CDs!).
  16. Hi LIGHTNING, Yes, they were remnants from this change: http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=13944 Erasing those entries "fixed" it: HandleBluRayBurningOnArrival_BuildImage HandleBluRayBurningOnArrival_BurnImage ImgBurnBluRayBurningOnArrival_BuildImage ImgBurnBluRayBurningOnArrival_BurnImage Thanks again for your help, TSR
  17. Hello, I use the latest version of ImgBurn to date. I noticed a small bug pertaining to ImgBurn AutoPlay. At Settings > Registry > Shell Extensions, I disable _every_ entry in the list. Yet, in Tweakui can still be seen 2 ImgBurn AutoPlay entries, maybe from an older ImgBurn version? Please tell me how to delete them safely, thank you very much, TSR
  18. What about an argument such as /nosplash ? (Like some other programs have, isobuster, goldwave, etc..) No need to put an option _inside_ the program really, but using /nosplash in the shortcut would suppress it. Later, TSR
  19. Very odd, how could i have missed it? I just checked and indeed the button is here in all modes. Maybe lack of sleep is the culprit heh. sorry to all of you guys.
  20. Hi blutach, So yeah, it's in Mode> Write, but not Mode > Build, i could always search it in Build mode if it isn't there in the first place hehe... Do you know why it's not there in Build mode? Later, TSR
