Jazzy Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 Because of my crappy DVD drive, if I burn anything above 4x, it fails. My disks for some reason won't go below 4x. So everytime I burn my software, on installation it fails. Is there a way to force it to burn at 2.4x? Possibly slower? Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

cornholio7 Posted July 28, 2009 Share Posted July 28, 2009 based on the lack of info you have given, most modern discs like being burnt at 8x or higher, if yours are giving errors burning higher than 4x, either better discs of a new drive should solve your problem, a drive can only burn media at the supported speeds, which is shown in the log or the right hand pane of imgburn Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
