schem Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 Hi I have searched but can't find my issue addressed. I can burn 2-3 copies with no problem. If I burn more than that, I get a i/o error. schem Posted August 1, 2009 Author Share Posted August 1, 2009 Hi Cynthia Either will fail. I have tried to limit speed to 16X but makes no difference. It never happens on the first or second write. Cynthia Posted August 1, 2009 Share Posted August 1, 2009 Could be the chipset drivers of the mother board. The only way to rule out the burner as the culprit is to put it in another computer. I have the 216 model and have burned several in a row here without issues (6x speed) and it sounds odd that the burner should be the real issue.
