Noob needs guidance burning .dvd (xbox) files!!

Hi all!

i was hoping somebody could help me? I've just received my first spindle of DL disks that i bought from Amazon and was all ready and set to be playing my first burnt 360 game when i encountered this problem?

 

I 10:35:12 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!

I 10:35:12 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3)

I 10:35:12 Total Physical Memory: 2,096,624 KB - Available: 1,721,600 KB

I 10:35:12 Initialising SPTI...

I 10:35:12 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

I 10:35:12 Found 1 DVD

Your drive is 100 years old and your discs are rubbish.

 

Change to Verbatim 2.4x MKM-001-00 discs (they were pretty much the first ones to come out) or get yourself a new drive that supports the ones you've just purchased.

I had a feeling you were going to say that he he he. Does everything else on the log look ok? Are the error messages solely to do with the media being crap?

Erm, probably cheaper getting the Verbatim media rather then updating the writer though no?

Hi guys,

 

for me its the 1. Time too that i am Burning Xbox360 games.

 

For this i bought an LG GH22LP20 DVD Writer and Verbatim DVD+R DL 8,5GB 8x DVDs...

 

Everytime i was writing with ImgBurn i get this Error at 20-25%

W 15:59:32 SPTD can have a detrimental effect on drive performance.
