the olde
HI Guys, Havent been on the forum for a while. Just used imgburn today to produce an ISO from a DVD file. It appears to produce the ISO file which I was expecting but also posted an MDS file. Do I need both now? cheers Edited September 24, 2009 by the olde
LIGHTNING UK!
It would have made it for 1 of 2 reasons... 1. The disc was under 1GB - where the MDS is then used to make DAEMON Tools emulate a DVD-ROM rather than a CD-ROM when you mount it. 2. The disc was double layer - where the MDS is then used to preserve the layer break position. If it's 1 in your case and you have no intention of mounting it in DT, no you probably don't need it. If it's 2 then you should keep hold of it.
