I had bookmarked this one: http://www.de.nec.de/softwareoverview2.php/id/557 and have been using it for a year or so as an alternate site to check for updated firmware for the 3500. Then, they go and actually use THIS for the new firmware: http://www.de.nec.de/softwareoverview2.php/id/1333 WHY can't anyone use consistency?! dbminter Posted April 7, 2006 Share Posted April 7, 2006 How can I slip corrupted firmware out into the wild in some of the more popular drives if NEC keeps changing the locations on me?! I have developed firmware commands that tell the drive to spin up discs to their fastest, then eject the trays, flinging the discs out like helicopters of DEATH!
