LIGHTNING UK!
At this point, I can only assume it's related to this: E 16:22:57 Reason: XingBytes > FileSize. Which basically means that the Xing header in the file claims the file is bigger than it actually (physically) is. Email one of them to the support address (look in the program's About box) and I'll look into it properly.

LIGHTNING UK!
Ok, it's because the file is using a v2.4 ID3 tag. The OS's built in DirectShow filters can't cope with it. (Your file worked ok on my machine but only because it pulled in a PowerDVD filter to help build the graph) Do you edit them manually or have you run it through some program that's changed it without asking? (See if you can configure said program to use v2.3 instead) From a little bit of detective work I can see that the original (non modified file) used v2.
VKondakoff
I'm not sure this is the reason for the errors. I'm using id3 v2.4 for all of my mp3 files and they are processed well on my machine with Win7. Here is a screenshot of the _problem_ files: and here is a screenshot of the files with id3 v2.4, which are processed by ImgBurn without problem:
LIGHTNING UK!
Well all I did was open up my tagging program (an old one now but I don't use it much - called ID3-TagIT), told it to remove the tag, saved the file and it worked fine. ImgBurn has 2 methods of decoding, DirectShow and ACM (ACM being the fallback). ACM fails on that file because of the 'XingBytes > FileSize' issue - so that basically means that DirectShow has to work or the program can't get decoded data. My guess is that the other files you've got with v2.4 tags do not have that 'XingBytes > FileSize' issue and so even though DirectShow fails, ACM can still process them. EDIT: Yup, confirmed it now, the default OS filters cannot process files using v2.4 tags. To be honest, I've been aware of this issue for ages (so long in fact that I'd forgotten about it again) LOL - Seems we're suffering from Deja-Vu! http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6027
VKondakoff
Update: I was able to create a correct CUE file from these mp3s after applying the Foobar2000 command 'Fix VBR mp3 headers'. As of our old id3v2.4 thread: yes, the id3v2.4 are not supported on WinXP, but it seems they are fully supported on Win7. At least other mp3 files with id3v2.4 tags are decoded successfully with ImgBurn when using Win7. After fixing the VBR mp3 header the files in question were decoded successfully as well. Interesting: under WinXP the CUE file from mp3 with id3v2.4 tag was created successfully, the error appeared on writing stage. In my current case with broken (?) VBR header the error appeared right on the CUE file creation stage. After fixing the VBR mp3 header there are no errors at all. I can send you the 'corrected' mp3 file if you like to examine the difference between the broken one and the corrected one. Are you interested in this? LIGHTNING UK!
I already explained why they work. DirectShow STILL fails to handle MP3's with ID3 v2.4 tags (even in Vista/7) but ImgBurn's ACM decoding fallback method will work once that Xing header (VBR header) is fixed. So the file you sent me has 2 problems. You could fix either one of those and have a 'working' file.
eSkRo
use ID3-TagIT.... It allows you to convert from id3 2.4 to v2.3 & vice-versa....
