SLOW WRITE SPEED???2.4 ???

HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B A106 (ATA) drive information!, i'm using DVD +R DL Verbatim brand discs that can be burned @ up to 10x speed,i usually burn @ 4x speed with my drive, for some reason IMGburn is now only allowing me to write @ 2.4 speed, please can someone shed some insight on this???

when your drive was made , those discs weren't in production, if you want to burn faster using those discs then why not buy a new drive , because it clearly shows the only supported speed is 2.4x.

a new drive will allow you to burn quicker and will cost about £20
