Now I have followed step by step instructions 5 times with the same error

 

I tried different games

I tried different media ( I am using verbatim dvd+r dl )

I have updated the firmware to my drive

 

I do not understand what I am doing wrong

Its a new laptop that sucks if it doesnt work is it all slimlines I have a sony laptop any recomendations

 

 

 

You aren't doing anything wrong, your drive is.

 

Have you tried burning at 4x or 6x instead of just 2.4x?

 

If the drive can't handle that either, get yourself a new one. Avoid slimline drives, they're all rubbish.
