ImgBurn Hangs at Writing LeadIn....

I've been using ImgBurn for a while now and have burned many discs without a problem. I tried using it a few days ago, but it seems to always get stuck at writing leadin. The elapsed time still runs and the computer works normally, except that I can't abort and I can't eject the disc after closing imgburn with taskmanager. I restarted my computer and tried to burn it again and it worked. I tried to burn another disc but got the same problem as before. I thought that resetting the computer would work again, but now it gets stuck at writing leadin even if I restart my computer. It just stays at 0% and I've left it for hours, but it hangs there. I'm using my desktop computer and Verbatim DVD-R discs.

Here is the log:

Try at higher speeds see if that makes any difference. It could be that your discs aren't very good.

CMC MAG. AM3

These usually aren't regarded as good quality discs. Look for Verbatim DVD+R with disc ID MCC (for single layer).

I am also assuming your firmware to your drive is up to date. Clean your burner with a cleaning disc. Also try updating your drivers to your controllers, perhaps that is also a reason for the hanging.

Thanks for the help,I'll try to get some better discs and see if it works.

I tried to find a firmware update for my driver, but I can't find it. Its a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-H653Z SCSI CdRom Device.

Do you know why it sometimes works if I restart though?
