warrenr6 Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Hi there, i have been burning avi files to single layer verbatim disks for a while now, but lately i have had two avi files that will burn to the disk but will not play in any dvd player, does anyone know why this is or is it a problem with imgburn? ianymaty Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Does your player support playing avi. Not all players do. Look for a firmware update for your player. Maybe you need to convert the avi to standard DVD Video using DVD Flick or DVD Styler. Post a log with burn and verify. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Rincewind Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 Either the .avi is not seen as valid in that dvdplayer or the disc itself isn't good. You should always verify your burns.
