pluto Posted April 2, 2011 Share Posted April 2, 2011 Copies will not play (on Sony & PS3)from successful burns to: Optical Quantum 1-4X, Memorex 4X, Sony 1-6X, BD-R media. Playback does work on burns to Sony BD-RE 2x. All play on blu-ray writer. I rip and compress (it necessary) to hard drive using DVDfab and write to media using ImgBurn. I have attached two logs, the first is the successful burn to the BD-RE and the second to the BD-R. I'm running Windows 7 on a Dell Studio XPS 8100 I bought 12/1/10. The firmware on the Sony was just updated. I'm hoping someone can guide me to successful burns that playback on my Sony BDP from a reasonably priced 25GB BD-R. Does it play as a bluray video disc on your PC with WinDVD or whatever software player out there plays bluray video on windows? Try NOT to multi task too much while burning. If you aren't and are having this issue continually then consider updating the drivers on your controllers.
