camarokenny67 Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 what is the problem? i have been using the exact same everything for quite some time and i get these error messages . one out of 5 turn out ok in the last week (10 in all). the source of the iso says its good the program i use to check the iso says its good and so on but i get this 4 out of 5 times . never had a problem (other then when i first started) like this and i burn disks weekly almost daily sometimes I 02:00:00 ImgBurn Version 2.5.5.0 started! camarokenny67 Posted April 21, 2011 Author Share Posted April 21, 2011 hi and thanks so much for the reply.... i am grateful, truly but as much as i absolutely hate to admit it i found the problem ....but first i would like to say i had already tried the update for the liteon. i had tried many things including holding my breath . but i the truth is i was using memorex disks . halfway through the stack something happened some where ... i had been using memorex for over a year ... so i thought it couldn't be them. i thought wrong i went and bought a 5 pack for 15 fricken dollars tried one out on a iso that had failed numerous times before knowing that it was going to fail again and this had no chance of working , i mean there is not many things that people need a dual layer dvd for in the first place and it was 40 dollars for 50 disks in the first place now im paying 30 dollars for 20 but i have not had one coaster, NOT ONE. despite my best efforts all i did was ,as a last resort mainly cuz im cheap, buy the disk put it in and burned it and bam i was back in business . thanks everyone . and to the future skeptics like me spring for the VERBATIM Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dbminter Posted April 22, 2011 Share Posted April 22, 2011 Verbs or Taiyo Yuden. Just don't buy Verb CD-R's. Even Verbatim is not above stooping to CMC cheap media for some of its products.
