car13lin
This may have been covered.. I played the original DVD on 2 PC's (Windows 10 & 11 and Real Player). I made 5 copies using IMG: On playing the copies video was, and remained, perfect and audio worked for a few seconds... then audio was lost on all 3 players on 2 machines. I tried the original...and other DVD's. Video but NO AUDIO! Rebooted both units repeatedly. Ran CODEX checks. Audio playing CD's on the 3 programs is fine!!! After fooling around for hours I installed Jet Video: Perfect picture, perfect audio on original and copies. ????? The new Real and Windows do too much for my needs...but... I love your program and have donated!
LIGHTNING UK!
What was this 'original' dvd you speak of? Post a log of you burning and verifying a disc (one of the ones you're saying doesn't work) - as per the pink box up the top The stuff on the disc isn't going to be any different to whatever you fed into ImgBurn. So if there's a problem, it's more than likely your source files are at fault. Are you playing the discs as actual DVD Video discs or just double clicking on the raw files? DVD Video discs must be played properly by software that can navigate IFO files. Double clicking on a VOB doesn't work properly. Try loading the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in 'Media Player Classic - Home Cinema' or one of the other proper playback tools - PowerDVD, WinDVD etc.
car13lin
Continue to pummel me! Log was not saved. Ist column copied. Rest added by hand. VIDEO_TS 12 KB BUP FILE VIDEO_TS 12 KB IFO VIDEO_TS 22 KB VOB VTS_01_0 130 KB BUP VTS_01_0 130 KB IFO VTS_01_1 1,048,574 KB IFO VTS_01_2 1,O48,574 KB VOB VTS_01_3 571,796 KB VOB Vista PC: I found a mute switch I didn't know existed. OK now. Plays video and audio on IMG copies and commercial DVD's on Windows 10. XP SP3 PC: Real Player and Windows 11: Continues to play video but NOT AUDIO on all DVD's...commercial and copies. Can't find a similar fix to Vista's mute. Question: Can I Delete Windows Player versions. As I mentioned...too bulky and too much for my needs. Is there a simple, recommended, player that will download to MP3 players. Thank you for your patience!!! Carl
