Weird I/O Verify Error

Hey guys, I know there are tons of these topics but mine is being really weird. Basically, I have burnt about 10 of the same discs at all different speeds, even my driver speeds but I get the exact same error 50% of the verify. But what is strange is that once, it did work, so I assumed they were just faulty discs but it won't stop doing it. Here is the log where it worked and below a log of the error:

Yeah I've read it but surely the majority of discs should work? I've burnt 10 and only 1 works, where as before, it would be the other way around.

Surely there's a way around it or is it just a faulty disc? Cos it's a bit weird it gives me the error on the EXACT section and percentage..

It's not really that weird, it's where the drive has to switch to reading from the second layer.

So if the drive did an awful job of burning it (which it appears it has), it'll be unreadable.

The thread mmalves linked you to tells you a few things to try.

If none of them work then you'll just have to buy other discs (or another drive and hope for the best).

You fix it by reading that thread properly and doing what it says!

The whole point in the 'pinned' thread is that we don't have to keep repeating ourselves over and over and over and over and over and over (I could go on forever) again.

It's a drive/firmware/media combo issue so you need to change something about one or more of those 3 to fix it.
