Problems burning xbox games with a ihas 524B and Aone Gold disks

Recommended Posts

I had a ihas 124b drive which I had 1 good burn with, so I decided to buy another drive an ihas 524...every single one now is failing, they hardly even start burning and when they do they stop at around 50%, im using Aone Gold double layer disks ( I know verbs are the best - but also slightly more expensive)...my friend...who has an ihas 324 and burns with Aone gold disks never gets any fails....ive tried every setting under the sun and im at a loose end now...

here is the info from my last try, if anybody can help me that would be very much appreciated, Thanks.

You may need OHT enabled for non verbatim discs.

All of ImgBurn's settings can be left on their default values.

Maybe try it with 'Perform OPC Before Write' enabled/disabled though as that one could actually make a difference.

Make sure you clear OPC history at least once before trying stuff again though.

I 13:13:42 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started!

Update ImgBurn please.

ive had another crack at it today without verbs.

The power cal area error means that your drive can't figure out how to set the laser power to burn your media.  With the errors above already reported it's simple enough to imply that your drive simply does not like the RICOHJPN-D01-67 media.  Since you can't make it like the Ricoh media, your choices are really limited either make the change to Verbs or replace the drive.

well ive just ordered my first lot of 25 verbs, I just hope im doing the right thing...I hope this works !!...will let you both know once they come and ive tried one. what settings would you both recommend on an ihas 524b with verbs ?

Only use the Verbs for XGD3. Save the Aone for XGD2 backups.
